I'd say whatever you like, I was taught at the dowsers convention with a wooden acorn and another time with any heavy object on a string. if you think one thing works better than another use whatever you want but you are the dowser, not the pendulum. Whatevr works for you.

I'm new to pendulum dowsing and have been using a green jade disc for yes/no, multiple choice answers. Which crystals might be more responsive or are better for dowsing?
