Hi....I am Vernon. I started sort of dowsing 30 years ago with a couple of L-rods. I did it primarily to see if I got a reaction. I would walk over hose filled water and known underground streams or water pipes. It was not until I experimented with the Y-rod that I became truly interested in dowsing. That ol' cottonwood branch about ripped my skin off. It took a few turns around the property before I became tuned in, but it was magnificent. Truly magnificent. I still recall the smile on my face and in my Soul.
I have attended a few classes. Mike Donnelly from the Portland, Oregon area was one of my instructors. He, or rather his book, taught me how to dowse for animals. He dowsed for deer. I dowsed for fish. I attended classes outside of Seattle, Washington and a couple in Sedona, Arizona , each with various teachers and speakers. Primarily I read and did/do. Still doing.
I really enjoy moving water veins. It is quite the ticket. Finding lost or misplaced items is interesting also. I like bobbing for health advice also......Vernon with a touch of my dowsingSelf

Re: Introductions again would be nice..........
Thu, February 19, 2009 - 7:58 PMGreat idea Vern!
I'm Zed Zebra (Jai-ro-Scope) an Arizona guy and the slacker-moderator of this Tribe. I have been pendulum and chart dowsing for 37 years after beginning my study of dowsing with the late Bill Finch in Tucson. Many years later, I did more study /w the Tucson dowser/healer Sarah Roehbus. It was studying with Ramon Grace at least four times now (just three-day seminars) that poured gasoline on my small flame and combusted me. I dowse professionally for word-of-mouth clients all over the US and in pockets of México - by snail mail, eMail, phone & in person. I only charge $25 / hour! I also tutor some clients who have chronic problems that require frequent tune-ups, teaching them to dowse for themselves to keep them from developing a dependence on me. I pretty much dowse ANYTHING but somehow tend to get a significantly disproportionate of clients dealing with drug addiction, relationship drama, and health issues. Lately financial/job issue clients have surged, alas.

Re: Introductions again would be nice..........
Thu, March 5, 2009 - 10:17 AMI'm Dennis Kaubisch currently in the Seattle area. As a kid I was introduced to water dowsing with a willow Y branch. That was fun...then I started trying to find treasure with an L-rod my dad bought. I dug so many empty holes that I finally just quit dowsing. My holes were not just a few shovelfuls...they were big and deep! Anyway, I recently got interested in dowsing again, joined a couple of groups, took some classes, and practiced a little. It seems that the house I live in blocks my dowsing somehow. Outside of this house I can get some response though. So, I am starting to get into this dowsing thing for a number of reasons. I am a treasure hunter at heart and will actively work that passion. I also hate big pharma and the whole allopathic medicine thing so I enjoy looking into alternative CURES for the everyday ills, and I am interested in water dowsing for finding water and for moving streams that are proving troublesome either from noxious energies or by attracting nesting type creatures to where they're not wanted. I also have a real passion for pre-history and want to use dowsing for finding sites, info, etc. Well, that's the extent of it for now. -

Thu, March 5, 2009 - 6:48 PMHi Dennis....Very nice to hear your story. I understand that you signed up for Jerry Noke's course which will be fun. Now it is Jai, You, and Me who are dancing with Jerry's course. I will drill some holes in plastic soon. I just got back from an extended trip to India, so it is 'settle in time" before I start preparing the plastic cover. I am enjoying catching up and also enjoy getting some BobberWands ready for their owners, including - I do believe - Yours!
Here are a few websites that you will be able to pick from for what you want. The Letter to Robin is geared for a pendulum, but it is basically the same movement that a BobberWand will provide you.

It has bobber as well as body lessons. You will be fine with dowsing where ever you are - In house; outta house; someone elses's house; under a tree; or on the moon...Vernon
