  It is possible to do this with any pendulum, it does not have to be a crystal.

      I don't know how you would do it on yourself, I learned to do it with a partner. You determine what is yes and no for your pendulum. With the person you are testing lying down, you hold the pendulum over each chakra and observe which way it rotates. If it rotates in the no direction it signifies that the chakra is blocked.

      i hold it above the chakra and if it rotates it is open and if it is still it is closed...and how fast or slow it spins can tell you how open or closed it is...but it is different for different pendulums...they will tell you if you ask the right questions

        There are also aurameters that (probably for a lot more $ than a pendulum) can do this. It's all INTENTION anyway. I do it for clients without even getting close to their aura, but using Walt Wood's chart and Raymon Grace's techniques. The person can be on the other side of the earth or the person can be me.

        PS IMO the pendulum (if you use a pendulum) can be crystal or any other substance. Bobbers work, etc.
